DIFFICULTY RATING 9
(see below for explanation)
This fascinating (and frustrating) sliding block puzzle
will keep you entertained for hours! The object is to be
able to slide the large black block to the
opening....BUT - nothing is to slide through the opening
except the large black block.
As the puzzle is shown in the photograph it will take
at least 68 moves to solve. There is a way to get the
puzzle out in 35 moves... see if you can find this
starting position.
CLUES - Place the black blocks on the marked
positions; place all other blocks inside the frame with
all other rectangular blocks vertical.
The puzzle will ALWAYS be possible when the tan
rectangular blocks are vertical. Where you place them
will determine how many moves it will take to solve this
puzzle.

Explanation of Difficulty Rating:
A puzzle with a difficulty rating of 1
is easy to solve and memorize. A puzzle rated as a 10 is
the most difficult to solve and memorize.
In general, a puzzle rated 7 may
require a couple of hours for the average person to
memorize or master. Approximately 60% of people will
never be able solve a puzzle with a difficulty rating of
9 without assistance from the printed solution.
But don't worry, a solution sheet is
included with each puzzle!
